I often get asked which os students should buy. My answer is always the same – they are all great. I operate iOS, android, windows, mac, and even linux. Each have their pros and cons. My advice:

• What are your needs? Are you consuming content or creating it? If the latter, then maybe a pc (mac or windows) is for you.
• Go to a store and test them out. How do you like the feel of the device and the operating system?
• Do you already have and Apple ID or Google account? If so, have you spent any money on purchases. If you’ve spent a considerable amount in the Play store, then I’d suggest looking at android.
• Which device can you afford?

The halls of SJT usually see iOS or Android. I’m curious, which device do you carry?
