My name is Joseph Filiplic and I am a teacher from Edmonton, Alberta.

I love working with technology and am constantly improving its use in the classroom to create authentic learning experiences for students. When the opportunity arises, I even speak or write about my experiences. Striving to challenge my students to use technology in a meaningful manner, and to assist them, I have become:

– a Google Certified Educator (Level 2),
– a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and Trainer

I believe learning should not stop once class is over. Learning is constant – sitting in the classroom, in front of a device while on the couch, at the kitchen table, or sipping coffee in a far off place. Challenge yourself to continue learning after class has ended – create something, even. This is where this site becomes useful. We will see what happens.
